EMERGING MARKETING COMPANIES CAN NOW SELL THROUGH THEIR FACEBOOK PAGES

Facebook has decided to allow small businesses in emerging markets to sell to customers from their Facebook page for free. The aim is to bring in potential advertisers into its world of growing population. Last year, Facebook launched a service which allows some merchants to sell through paid ads on Facebook's app. With this new development, purchases can be made through merchants own page on Facebook.

With effect to this new development, Benji shomair (product marketing director of Facebook pages) said "If a business is seeing value from their pag, there is a higher opportunity that they could be an advertiser". I tend to agree with that.

Facebook is reaching out to many. It aims at reaching a large group of potential users. In areas where having internet access is as good as impossible, Facebook is building Internet beaming drones to connect people in that category. It has also launched free basic pared down version of Internet in 30 countries and more , who have challenges with a reliable internet.

If Facebook can put all this strategy into actions, which I believe will be very soon, then the number of advertisers which is close to 3million presently will drastically increase, networking more persons worldwide and making Facebook a more reliable commerce and economical social media .

So for people who are eager to start their business and commercialise it, then this is a great deal for you. You are sure of reaching many persons worldwide.
