DO YOU HAVE THE DNA LABEL TO BE A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR?

Everyone now is considering diversifying, trying not to depend on the government..Nigeria's economy is falling like a rocket diver..It has done on many now,to start up a business,that is being an entrepreneur. But let's take a look at this. America has a better economy more than Nigeria..I got a stat from forbes.."Many starts ups all over, but the fact is ,the chances of a start up as an entrepreneur ending in success is about  20% - 30%..That's a country with better economy.How about our country Nigeria?  Well ,maybe worse..So the question is , DO YOU HAVE THE DNA OF A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR? What's the trick to gain success and beat all odds?

Well, take a look at some of the questions you could ask yourself..I find this  questions interesting raised by forbes interesting..

1) Are you good with duct tape?

"Have you ever split a  roll of duct tape down the middle, to get two roles out of one" asks Forbes.
What's the idea? We could say proverbially, "using two stones to kill a bird". The ability to solve big problems with a small or minimal tools or team..That will get you a long way..That's what I call "being resourceful"..This will train you to tackle problems in a creative, prudent way. Together with your team, your thinking ideas and innovative mindset increases.. Even if you have more than enough resources and finance to tackle a problem, being resourceful,or I use the forbes word: using a duct tape, will get you successful than you can ever imagine on a long run

2)Are you a made with a clay containing insatiable curiosity?

Stats from Pwc survey in year two*fifteen, listed curiosity and open mindedness as two of the most important leadership traits and guess what: this is the thinking of over a thousand CEOs'.
You need to seek for new ways to make your business grow..The earth itself doesn't stay static, it rotates..Why should be an exception.. Everyone knows how technology is ruling the world..I can't imagine seeing someone sending a message in a letter to the other party located in another state, by road when I could easily send a text, give a call, send an email in seconds..hope you grab the idea..The same with your business..seek for new ways to make it grow...be an insatiable entrepreneur who looks for better and more effective way to conduct business ..That makes you stay ahead of the game and overcome challenges when the course to success becomes filled with hardships ,thereby getting tougher .

3)Do you like stepping on rakes and getting hit on your very face?
I call that persistency and risk taker..If you are not ready to try again and again, you cannot achieve success.. Before you achieve a great success, you must fail..Failure is like a step, it gives u an edge cause it makes you tighten your belt..When you love stepping on rakes and willing to get hit, your views in areas like knowing who to hire, better strategies, better routine,timing will get better..

Being a successful entrepreneur is not a days job neither is it an impossible nut to crack...
